Mini Tea Tour – Pictoplasma catch up! 150 150 Matt

The Mini Tea Tour had the perfect launch pad… Pictoplasma!

So here’s my good news review…
– The Mini Tea Tour featuring over 70+ world artists.
– A resin casting workshop called Plastik Surgery.
– And To top it off i was asked to be a guest speaker at the Kino Babylon, the conference arena for Pictoplasma. So no pressure 🙂

The Mini Tea Tour
Everyone who came loved the space, and of course the customs on display.
Here’s a few snaps from the launch Party from various sources, so thanks for the images guys!

We have had a few issues with some of the custom cups being caught up in … guess what … The Berlin Customs Office. So I apologies if you didn’t see some of the designs you were expecting, but the tour is on a roll and will move to Vienna next where all the cups will be proudly on display at the SIXXA store.

The Pictoplasma Conference
We had a full house with over 500 attendees, making up a very excitable audience. and the Organisers nicely tucked in between two amazing artists “Jeremyville” and the “Rilla Alexander”, Like I said, no pressure here folks 🙂
Some here’s some images of me below… and after my talk I had to dash off to open the Plastik Surgery Workshop, so no rest for the wicked.

Plastik Surgery
This was crazy, I had two full classes of 30 people in each, and i had to turn-a-way over 100 other trainee surgens as spaces was so tight and we were full to capacity…
In the workshop we made some crazy little characters from Super Sculpy and then baked these in the oven, and the day after everyone came back and we had a lot of fun molding casts and making strange objects.
Here’s some choice images from the workshop:

Massive thanks to Lars & Peter and all the PP team for making Pictoplasma 2011 such an amazing year for everyone.
Also like to thank all my friends who came to visit us here in Berlin, and all the Custom Tea Tour Artists for making the exhibition so great!
