The ‘Custom Tea Tour’ and the ChariTea Auction event at the Kidrobot Store in London, the final stop for the Custom Teas. And as you can see by the amount of Bidding Action that’s going on EBay that all the Custom Teas are going to fetch a fair old price at the end of the day, and the NSPCC chariTea will be extremely grateful with the final donation.
See the Custom Teas here:EBay Link and place a bid on your favorite Custom Cuppa!
Bidding ends Friday 22nd at 12.30pm.

Mines also gone under the hammer, check out the Flocked Bowler and Tipsy Turvy Umbrella dripping in a golden brew!

With the promise of Custom Teas and Cakes and the appearance of Special Guest Artists including Ian Stevenson, Sichi, Triclops, Jo Gough, Sneaky Raccoon, Cris Rose, Farkfk, Tortoy was a real treat for the fans!

From around 5.30pm the Kidrobot store had started to get pretty busy and fans were already queueing up outside to see the Custom Teas and to meet the Artists. Once everyone was inside I decided it was best to give a little speech to kick things off. That seemed to go down quite well, and to boot i thoroughly embarrassed the artists by making them all wear “I’m an Artist” badges which personally I think gave them some presence in a nicely packed room and it was a bit of fun at the same time 🙂

Here’s the first set of images to give your eyes a treat!

For the setup of the night we had a great looking set of cabinets filled with ‘Custom Teas’, and the wonderful creative minds from Candy Pulse laid out a sparkly Edible Spread of Mini Cup Cakes which matched up with the flavours of the new ‘Mini Teas’!

Once everything died down and the pens had finally run out of ink, we wrapped up the evening by taking the artist to the pub for some well deserved drinks.

To wrap this up , here are a few more great images from the night taken by Derek Bremner.

Mini Teas make a debut appearance.

Big Thank you to…
All the ‘Custom Tea Tour Artists’ for making some wonderful Custom Cups of Tea!
I’m sorry if you could not make it over, but your work is truly great and everyone appreciates the efforts you made!.

Special thanks
Candy Pulse for supplying the Beautiful Cup Cakes & display, and boy they tasted soooo soooo good! (and i only got one but everyone else enjoyed themselves immensely)

Lunartik head cushions
ClickforArt supplied some super soft and so very desirable cushions to us for the party. These will be released along with the Mini Teas in November 2010 at Forbidden Planet’s Mega store in London. If you want to pick one up online then check the website in November – ClickforArt
